Instructions for Hockey Canada's Online Registration System

  1. On the home page or Returning Members Online Registration page of the PLMHA website, click on the REGISTER ONLINE NOW link to go to the Hockey Canada online registration system.
  2. Once you have read through the welcome information, you will need to either create an account or login with your existing account (if you used this system last year you should have an account - use the Forgot Your Password feature if you can't remember your login information). For first time users,  click on ‘Click Here to Create an Account’ and enter the required information needed to create your Hockey Canada Online registration account.  If you have an account, fill in your login information and continue.
  3. Once you have logged in, the system will now bring you to the Registration Area.  Here you can Register a Member, Change your E-mail, Change your account information and Change your password.  You could also see a list of previously registered people along with viewable receipts that you could print.
  4. Click on the Register a Participant link to begin the registration process.
  5. For a child that you registered last year, you will see them listed and a Register Again button - use this  button to register that participant for the upcoming season. For a child not previously registered in this system, enter the Registrants Name, Date of Birth, Language and Gender then click on the Register a Participant link to proceed.  The matching participants name and information will appear, click on the ‘Register Now’ button to proceed.
  6. Click on ‘Participant’ and then click the ‘Next’ button.
  7. Click on the Division and then click the ‘Next’ button.
  8. Choose the ‘Registration Package’ your child will be registering for (i.e. General Package for Novice Players or General Package for Novice Goalies).
  9. Enter the Member’s Physical, Mailing, Father’s and Mother’s address.  You will then be brought to the Contact Information section.  You MUST enter a valid Home Phone Number and Email Address for the Member as well as a parent/guardian in order to proceed to the Emergency Contact section.
  10. Enter the Registrant’s Emergency Contact Name and where it indicates ‘Contact Information’ please provide a phone number at minimum here.
  11. Read through both the ‘Waiver Agreement’ and the ’Hockey Canada Waiver’.  Click on the ‘I agree’ box. (In order for your registration to be complete, you need to agree to both of these.)
  12. Once all of the information is entered, click on the ‘Review’ button.  (Please note that if you are entitled to a 15% discount because it is the 3rd child or more you are registering, you will not see the deduction on your invoice, however you may calculate the 15% and deduct that from your payment but the registrar will have to make those adjustments in the system for it to appear.
  13. You may now either register another participant or complete your registration.  If you are finished and click the ‘Check Out’ button, you will be prompted to choose type of payment.  You are only given 2 options: Cheque or Money Order.  Credit Card payments are not an option and will not be accepted by PLMHA.  Once complete, you can either ‘Print Receipt’ or ‘Email Receipt’.  This is the actual invoice for your registration and a copy MUST accompany your payment. 
  14. Payments can be made either by sending it to the address indicated at the top of the receipt.  Please DO NOT send your payment to the PLMHA post office box.  It may not be checked on a regular basis and could result in your registration being deemed late and subject to the additional late fee.  You can also bring your payment to any one of the scheduled walk in registration dates, which are posted on the PLMHA website.
